End
Background:
The Fusus by Axon platform is a web-based, map-driven real-time operations system designed to integrate various department-owned and non-department-owned assets into a unified interface. This will provide the police department with real-time access to a wide range of sensors, including video cameras and data feeds from both agency-owned and community-registered assets.
Key features of the platform include:
• Incident Management: Streamlined access to video and data sources across multiple divisions for faster intelligence gathering during live events.
• Community Collaboration: A community-facing website portal will enable residents and businesses to register their video cameras. This tool will help the department identify camera locations near incidents and facilitate the collection of recorded footage when necessary.
• Increased Efficiency: The platform's real-time data-sharing capabilities will improve the speed and accuracy of our responses, as well as streamline post-incident investigations.
The implementation of the Fusus by Axon platform will greatly enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Broken Arrow Police Department. By leveraging real-time data and video feeds, our officers will be able to respond to incidents with greater precision and speed, thereby improving public safety. Moreover, the platform fosters community collaboration through the video registry, providing an invaluable resource for gathering evidence quickly and securely.
The adoption of this platform is a critical component toward upstanding our Real-Time Information Center.
Axon Enterprises is an approved vendor on the Oklahoma Statewide Contract No. OK-MA-145 - OK# SW1057 and authorized for services under City ordinance per Section 2-27 of the Broken Arrow Code allowing exceptions to the established competitive bidding process.
