Ratification of the Agreement for Interim Street and Stormwater Director Services by and between Strategic Government Resources and the City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
End
Background:
The Street and Stormwater Director will be retiring from the City in January 2018. The Human Resources Department has partnered with Strategic Government Resources (SGR) to conduct a nationwide search for this important leadership position. It is anticipated that a candidate will be selected by February. To bridge the time between the existing director’s retirement date and the start date of the chosen candidate as well as take advantage of an opportunity to conduct a “best practices” review of our processes and procedure in order to assist the new director upon his or her start, the City has entered into an agreement to utilize SGR’s Interim Director services.
SGR will provide a highly experienced local government professional to serve as Interim Street and Stormwater Director while the recruitment process is completed. SGR and Staff will work together to determine candidates for consideration with the City Manager making the final selection. The hourly billable rate will be $81.95. This assignment is expected to last 90 to 120 days. In addition, temporary housing and mileage/travel reimbursement will be provided by the City. Funding is available in the operational budgets of the Street and Stormwater Department.
Cost: estimated $42,336 - $56,448
