Background:
The attached General Warranty Deed is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, a municipal corporation, from Tulsa Habitat for Humanity, Inc., the owner. Parcel 13.0 consists of 12,645 square feet of permanent Right-of-Way generally located on the northwest corner of the intersection of South 9th Street and East Mason Drive in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma in the Northeast Quarter of Section 14, Township 18 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma. Tulsa Habitat for Humanity, Inc., has accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:
Permanent Right of Way: 0.21 Acres @ $79,000/acre = $16,590
Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $16,590.00
A copy of the signed acceptance letter is attached, as is the General Warranty Deed. Payment of the compensation amount is on the April 21, 2026 City Council Claims List.
