Background:

The attached Utility Easement is being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow from Darrell Schulze and Mal Ye Schulze, Trustees of the Schulze Family Revocable Trust, Dated April 18, 2016, the owner. Parcel 5.0 consists of 10,251.29 square feet of utility easement and is for the 16-inch Waterline Loop Elm & Florence, located in the Northwest Quarter of Section 35, Township 18 North, Range 14 East, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma.  Darrell Schulze and Mal Ye Schulze, Trustees of the Schulze Family Revocable Trust, Dated April 18, 2016, have accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:

 

Permanent Utility Easement: 10,251.29 SQUARE FEET (SF) @ $2.60 SF X 75% = $19,990

Improvements Acquired:

Mature Trees 19 x $400 each = $7,600

Small Trees: 9 x $200 each = $1,800                                                                                    Total Improvements: $9,400

Total Just Compensation Amount (Rounded) = $29,390

 

A copy of the signed acceptance letter is attached, as is the Utility Easement.  Payment of the compensation amount is on the March 3, 2026, City Council ClaimsList.
