Background:

BAZ-002491-2025 is a request to rezone 8.01 acres from AG (Agricultural) to ON (Office Neighborhood). The property is located at the southwest corner of the intersection of Florence Street (111th Street) and Aspen Avenue (145th E Avenue). This property is currently unplatted.

The applicant is requesting this change to the zoning designation for the purpose of the development of a place of worship.  Office Neighborhood zoning is allowed in Level 4.

According to FEMA Maps, a portion of the southeast corner of this property is located within the 100-year floodplain. Water and Sanitary Sewer are available from the City of Broken Arrow.

 

During the meeting held November 20, 2025, the Planning Commission recommended approval (4-0) of BAZ-002491-2025 per Staff recommendation. Staff recommended that it be approved subject to the property being platted. During the public comment period, no one spoke in support or opposition to this request.
