                     Consideration, discussion, and possible approval of and authorization to execute the Professional Services Agreement with Catalyst Commercial for assisting the City in revitalization strategy of the Elm and New Orleans area

Background:

A Request For Proposal (RFP) was published in November 2017 towards retaining a consulting firm to prepare a Market Study and a Small Area Plan for the Elm and New Orleans commercial area. There were 3 regional companies that responded and were interviewed. The selection committee has selected Catalyst Commercial, a marketing and planning firm based in Dallas to perform this task. For this proposal Catalyst has retained ADG, an Oklahoma City firm (which prepared the Broken Arrow DROD plan) to assist them with this project, Catalyst Commercial is also working with HALFF and Associates on the Comprehensive Plan project.

 

Funding for this project will be from Sales Tax Capital Improvements (STCI) funds in the amount of approximately $76,000.00
