Background:

The attached Utility Easement and Temporary Construction Easement are being conveyed to the City of Broken Arrow, a municipal corporation, by Margaret Ann Woods, the owner. Parcel 28.0 consists of 5,040.10 square feet of utility easement, and Parcel 28.1 consists of 4,986.59 square feet of temporary construction easement located at 9607 South 193rd East Avenue in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, in the Southwest Quarter of Section 19, Township 18 North, Range 15 East, Wagoner County, State of Oklahoma. Margaret Ann Woods has accepted the following offer, made subject to City Council approval:

Parcel 28.0 Permanent Utility Easement: 5,040.10 Square Feet (SF) x $1.55/SF x 75% = $5,859.00

Permanent Easement Improvements: Tulips: 10 @ $8.00/each (ea) = $80.00

Parcel 28.1 Temporary Construction Easement: 4,986.59 SF @ $1.55/SF x 10% = $773.00

Temporary Construction Easement Improvements:

Mature Trees: 8 x $2,710.25/ea = $21,682; Liriopie: 12 x $40/ea = $480; Stonecrop: 7 x $30/ea = $210; Boxwood Shrub: 3 x $44.50/ea = $134; Metal Garden Edging: 1 @ 45 feet x $144 = $144; Yucca Plants: 9 x $37/ea = $333; Replanting plants - Nominal: 1 x $100 = $100; Relocating rocks and milk jug - Nominal: 1 x $100 = $100

A copy of the signed acceptance of the City’s offer is attached, as is the Utility Easement. Payment of the compensation amount is on the May 19, 2026 City Council Claims List.
