Section 5.8.G.1 of the Zoning Ordinance states that ”all new construction or renovation of existing structures... shall have vertical exteriors facing that are facing a public or private street  constructed of, but not limited to: masonry, concrete panels, glass block, glass curtain walls, Exterior Insulated Finished Systems (EIFS), or stucco.“ This section also provides authority to the Planning Commission to consider and approve metal finishes, wood, plastic or other masonry material through the site plan review process. The applicant is requesting approval by the Planning Commission to incorporate additional exterior building materials into the facade of the building associated with the Bank of Oklahoma remodel.

The existing building facade is approximately 5,558-square feet and faces 9th Street. The proposed façade is a mixture of metal, masonry brick, and curtain wall.
