Background:
The attached Agreement for Professional Consultant Services with RJN Group, Inc., is for engineering design of 4,570 linear feet of 48-inch slip-lining of an existing 54-inch diameter concrete sanitary sewer interceptor in the Haikey Creek drainage area above the Haikey Creek Lift Station. Also included is rehabilitation of 10 manholes and coordination of closed-circuit television (CCTV) and heavy cleaning of the line to remove excessive solids prior to slip-lining. The Consultant will also provide hydraulic calculations to confirm that the final project will deliver 29.1 million gallons per day (MGD) of peak hydraulic capacity for future ultimate build-out within the basin.
The negotiated amount of the RJN Group agreement for design of the Haikey Creek Interceptor Phase I is $295,505.00. Funding for Engineering will be from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board (OWRB) Financial Assistance Program (FAP) Loan No. 16-0001-L. Staff recommends that the Authority approve the Agreement and authorize its execution.
