Background:
The applicant James H. Hoffmeister, on behalf of the land owner, Yuri Sountsov, is requesting the vacation of a 5-foot Utility Easement located on the south boundary of Lot Six (6), Block Three (3) of the Kenwood Hills Second Addition, with the plans to potentially purchase the adjacent lot to the north for personal use. This easement application is a companion to a second easement closure on Lot five (5), Block three (3), owned by Mr. Hoffmeister.
There are no known utilities in this easement. Staff anticipates closure proceedings in district court and has no concerns regarding the closure request. Staff and Utility companies are in agreement with the closure.
