The conditional final plat of Kum & Go #837 contains 1.72 acres located west of Oneta Road, north of State Highway 51. Kum and Go is proposing to construct a 6,321 square foot new store on this property and close their existing store on the east side of Oneta Road. The property, which has been previously platted as Lot 1, Block 1 of BOL Addition, is being replatted with this plat. PUD 247, which was submitted in conjunction with the preliminary plat, was approved by the City Council on February 2, 2016, subject to the property being replatted. The preliminary plat was approved by the Planning Commission on January 14, 2016, subject to the attached checklist.
With this plat and PUD 247, access is limited to one point on Oneta Road and one point onto State Highway 51. Water and sanitary sewer service to this property will be provided by Rural Water District #4. According to the FEMA maps, none of the property is located in a 100-year floodplain area.
