Artesia II at Forest Ridge proposes to have 10 lots on 6.623 acres. The property, which is located one-half mile south of Kenosha Street (71st Street), one-half mile east of 79th Street (Midway Road/S. 257th E. Avenue), is presently zoned PUD-66/R-1. PUD 66 was approved by the City Council on August 1, 1988. The property associated with Artesia Estates at Forest Ridge was designated as Tracts X and Y in PUD 66 and are identified as “Single-Family Residential”. The preliminary plat for this development was approved by the Planning Commission on August 26, 2021, subject to checklist
Artesia II at Forest Ridge extends southeast from Artesia I at Forest Ridge subdivision located directly north of Kensington Ridge II. The proposed streets in Artesia II at Forest Ridge are an extension of Artesia I and are intended to be private and gated maintained by the homeowner's association. Gates are located in other sections of the connected subdivisions to the north and to the west. The streets will extend through the proposed Stone Ridge at Forest Ridge addition and connect to 79th Street (Midway Road/S. 257th E. Avenue).
None of the property is located within a 100-year floodplain. The 100-year floodplain of Timber Creek is located to the west of this property along with the Forest Ridge Golf Course. Water and sanitary sewer will be provided by the City of Broken Arrow.
The Technical Advisory Committee reviewed the preliminary plat for Artesia II at Forest Ridge on November 00, 2024.
