Consideration, discussion, and possible adoption of Ordinance No. 3508, an ordinance amending the zoning ordinance of the City of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, approving BAZ 1685, generally located one-quarter mile east of Olive Avenue, one-half mile north of Jasper Street, granting a RS-3 zoning classification to be placed upon the tracts, repealing all ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, and declaring an emergency.

Background:
On October 3, 2005, the City Council reviewed and approved BAZ 1685 on a 150-acre tract of land located one-quarter mile northeast of the northeast corner of Olive Avenue and Jasper Street from A-1 and R-1 to R-3S, subject to the property being platted. Stone Horse II of Broken Arrow, which contains 14.77 acres, was recorded on Tulsa County on December 1, 2017, and Stone Horse III of Broken Arrow, which contains 21.48 acres was recorded in Tulsa County on December 13, 2017. On February 1, 2008, the Zoning Ordinance was updated and the R-3S district was changed to RS-3.

AND
All of Stone Horse III of Broken Arrow, part of the North Half of the Southwest Quarter (N/2 SW/4) of Section Four (4), Township Seventeen (17) North, Range Fourteen (14) East of the Indian Meridian, a subdivision within the City of Broken Arrow, Tulsa County, State of Oklahoma, Document No. 6771,
be and the same is hereby changed from the zoning classification of A-1 to RS-3.
Staff recommends that the Council adopt Ordinance No. 3508 and approve the Emergency Clause.
